Join The Polis Project for a special screening of the Hindi-language film Dhadak 2, followed by a live conversation with director Shazia Iqbal, moderated by Natasha Javed.
Dhadak 2 continues urgent conversations around caste, identity, and social power in contemporary India. Through a powerful and intimate narrative, the film explores how young love collides with deeply entrenched hierarchies, exposing the structures that shape opportunity, dignity, and belonging.
Following the screening, Shazia Iqbal will discuss the making of the film, the political and social themes it engages, and the role of cinema in confronting inequality and sparking dialogue. The conversation will be moderated by Natasha Javed and include audience Q&A.
