ICE Out of Dublin Coalition: South Asian Power Hour

Date/Time: Tuesday, May 26 6 – 7pm PDT
Location: Virtual training

Hosted by: ICE Out of Dublin Coalition, ASATA — Alliance of South Asians Taking Action, Hindus for Human Rights, and Indivisible Tri-Valley

Join the ICE Out of Dublin Coalition, ASATA, and Hindus for Human Rights for the final South Asian Power Hour training to help stop FCI Dublin from reopening as an ICE detention center.

On May 1, the Federal Bureau of Prisons published an Environmental Assessment Report on FCI Dublin, moving the facility one step closer to possible reopening as an ICE detention center. A 30-day public comment period opened on May 1 and closes on June 1, 2026.

During this virtual call, organizers will share updates on the ICE Out of Dublin campaign, explain the environmental assessment process, and walk participants through how to submit public comments. Attendees will also have time to write and submit comments together in real time.

The goal is clear: flood the public comment process with hundreds of responses saying NO ICE prison in Dublin — not in the Bay Area, not anywhere.
