Join the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine for the launch of One Single Act, the new book by the Very Rev. Winnie Varghese, Dean of the Cathedral.

Officially published November 3, One Single Act explores how everyday acts of kindness, generosity, compassion, courage, and justice can transform our lives and renew our communities with hope.

The book grows out of the #OneSingleAct campaign launched by Dean Varghese and the Episcopal Diocese of New York in 2025, which invited people to undertake one act of generosity, compassion, kindness, or justice each day. In the book, Dean Varghese expands on that invitation through reflections rooted in Christian spirituality and the possibilities of collective care and action.

Celebrate the book’s release with Dean Varghese at the Cathedral on November 9.
