Project Prithvi Beach Cleanup

Join Sadhana: Coalition of Progressive Hindus, in partnership with Gateway National Recreation Area, for a Project Prithvi beach cleanup at Jamaica Bay’s North Channel Bridge.

Volunteers will meet at the red brick pavilion in the North Channel parking lot, south of the Joseph P. Addabbo Memorial Bridge / Cross Bay North Channel Bridge, on the west side of Cross Bay Boulevard. For GPS, search “Crossbay Kiteboarding Launch Area.” Overflow parking is available on the east side of the boulevard.

Gloves, garbage bags, and pickers will be provided, along with a light lunch. Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a bottle of water. Verification letters will be available for anyone who needs to certify volunteer hours for school or community purposes.
