Join HfHR for a special Diwali screening of The Friendship Files: How Modi and Adani Stole India, followed by a conversation with producer Sabeer Bhatia.

The documentary examines the relationship between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and billionaire Gautam Adani and the implications of concentrated corporate and political power for India’s democracy and economy.

Now the film itself has become part of the story: following a lawsuit by Adani Enterprises, an Indian court has ordered specified copies removed or disabled from YouTube, X, and Instagram.

We stand with Sabeer in making sure people have the opportunity to see, discuss, and critically engage with this important material for themselves.
